Master Bathroom ideas {green}

2019-07-26 03:20:00 customized gift for Graduation

I am in the middle of working on our master bathroom makeover and green is the color I chose. Dark green to be exact. When I first started the bathroom, I was thinking more of a lighter color because the bathroom is small but took a leap of faith and tried a dark color. You can always paint over it right? I wanted a master bathroom that exuded a spa like feel and a sense of calm.

Here are a few master bathroom ideas I came up with, although most of them are lighter in color.

I found it difficult to find any darker green bathrooms that gave me the spa like feel so I decided to use white accessories to incorporate the feel I was going after.

If you love a color and you don't think it is exactly perfectpillow cases vintage, don't be afraid to try it. I decided to give the darker green a try and used other design methods to bring in a lighter feel.

I ended up choosing the green color?composed?below by Sherwin Williams. I found their color tool super helpful in choosing the color. You can either upload your own picture or use one they provide as I did below.

I will admit, I unexpectedly fell in love with this color. As I started painting, I almost cringed because it was so much darker then I originally wanted but I am SO glad I tried it. I decided to paint all the trim, doors and vanity a bright white color as shown in the image above and accessorize with white as well. The white contrast provided the necessary element to give me the spa like feel I was going after. It looks fabulous if I do say so myself. I will be sharing the bathroom in a few weeks as I still have a few more details to complete. The bathroom makeover is part of the Annual Sherwin-Williams National Painting Week?(?#SWPaintingWeek)?which starts the beginning of April. Can't wait to show you!
